What a cute room! friendly staff, early check in allowed, clean rooms & grounds with plenty of room to walk my dog. (who weighs 100 pounds by the way & this was not a problem for the Park Motel.) The only problem I had with the place was that the shower head was very low, I am 5'7 & it was short for me. My friend that I was traveling with is 6'4 so well enough said ;), also took several minutes of running the water to get hot water to the room. Other then that it is a great place =)
I loved the knotted Pine wood interior of our room, gave it a very log cabin feel to the place.

We traveled a little past the edge of town and came upon this gem of a hotel with pleasant owners. The cabin like atmosphere was out of the 50's/60's but had all the modern touches of refrig, microwave, hairdryer. The bathroom space was not spacious but well planned for the best space manageable. The rest of the room was spacious. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable. The room rate was reasonable. There were cabins to rent also, but we only needed a room for two. We would definitely stay here again.

I just returned from a 2 night stay at the Park Motel, it was a wonderful experience!!!!! From the very first minute I felt like a valued guest, Margaret took the time to answer all my questions. My 2 dogs and I rented the Orca cabin, a 2 bedroom cabin near the back of the property. I was pleasantly surprised to see that each cabin has ample "lawn" area for dogs and each is equipped with a BBQ and picnic bench! What a great touch. My girls immediately felt safe and secure and had lots of fun roaming the property, in fact my Cavalier chased almost every leaf on the property!
I highly recommend, if you travel to the Florence area, you stay at the Park Motel, I know I will be returning!

The A-Frame Chalet was a perfect choice for a group of 5. Short straw got the hide-a-bed, ok for one night. The place was clean and had plenty of options for cooking and eating with full kitchen. The only negative was truck noise from Hwy 101. Good place and price for our group.
