The ratings for this inn suggested it would be quite good. It is a 50's style motel with small rooms but upgraded furnishing. The bedding seemed ok until we turned over a pillow and found what looked like mold on the under side. The side lights over the bed kept flickering off and we couldn't access the plugs to seat them better.
The reception staff were quite friendly and it is within walking distance to downtown Eugene.

The Traveler's Inn is within walking distance to downtown Eugene; especially to the Saturday Market. It is close to restaurants and shopping. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

“Good value and service”
This is a good value and near the UO campus. Good restaurants in the vicinity and close to the river trails. Try to get a top floor room for a little more quiet. The buffet breakfast is minimal. The wireless access may need help from management to get set up.
I did have some running clothes that needed drying and it wasn't easy to do it in the room. The manager offered to have me use their dryers; which was much appreciated!
Room Tip: Get a room on the top floor for more quiet.

“excellent value, amenities, and welcome”

Rooms are clean. Have stayed here more than once. Family run. Continental breakfast wasn't great but 7-11 is next door for early am coffee. Short walk to restaurants and U of O. I only wish the cost didn't have to nearly double for game week-ends. We will continue to stay here on non-game week-ends.
