This hotel is very close to the side of campus I needed to go to, so I could walk, thereby saving money on a car rental, parking, etc. The staff was friendly: when a mysterious toxic smell showed up in my room on day 2 (probably due to nearby construction), the clerk personally verified the smell and helped me move my things to a new room. So I can report on two rooms: both were clean; beds were relatively new and comfortable; internet was easily accessed and fast enough in both rooms (they have several routers, apparently); one room had no desk; both were quiet enough to get some work done. I was offered a loaner umbrella when it was raining and when I needed a cab, the clerk had one there for me. Is within walking distance of restaurants (go to the Thai place, Mekala) and a supermarket that is sort of like a locally-owned Whole Foods. I didn't have a car, but it looked like parking was plentiful. Breakfast is fair and the hard-boiled eggs were kind of hard and weird flavored (they don't boil them there). It would be nice if they had scrambled eggs or something, though biscuits and gravy was pretty good (though naughty). Rooms have old-fashioned chain locks. Air conditioner/heater is a (noisy) unit under the window. There are two computers and printer *free* in the lobby.
Room Tip: You may want one with a desk -- not all have them.
