The room was acceptable but there was coweb in a corner and the heater blew out dust. So the price was modest, but continental breakfast was promised. What was provided is like an ultra tricky definition of continental breakfast. Shame on the operator for cheating trusting customers who have a right to expect even a minimalist continental breakfast! The Express Inn and Suites franchise owner should know your Eugene franchisee is putting the brand to shame.

A had a good week staying at this motel. Rosie who works there is always friendly and good to have a conversation with. There is a nearby laundromat a few blocks walk.

It was affordable and the bathrooms were recently updated with lovely granite. There are refrigerators in the rooms. And although they do not offer smoking rooms, they do provide fresh ash trays and a comfortable bench to sit on out the front of the room.

They accept cash which was good too. There is a 7 Eleven just across the road. The daily cleaning of the rooms was up to a very high standard and I was very pleased with my entire stay.

Free, fast wifi is provided and the staff are very nice and friendly.

I did not know how long I would stay, and they were understanding and nice to me each morning when I would pay for one more night in cash. They are lovely people.

This hotel was a nice place to stay on a short trip to Eugene with friends. It's cheap (under $70 for a double queen) so you have to manage your expectations. The room was very clean but strictly utilitarian. The bed was firm and did not feel old or abused, and the fridge and microwave were in clean workable condition.

Another plus is that Express Inn is in a good location, walking distance from the downtown area, Hult Center, and the lovely places along Blair Blvd. including the Pizza Research Institute, Ninkasi Brewing, and Sam Bonds Garage Bar.

One thing to note is that the main photo on the hotel's website is very misleading. That photo has nothing to do with this place - I'm not sure what they're trying to say with it. This is a small 25 room hotel. Nothing but rooms.

Also, the checkout time is 11am. Could be later.

Other than that, a pretty nice place to sleep over in Eugene.

Wow, as a seasoned traveler, I was on my way to another motel just 200 yards away and thought, maybe they will honor another motels coupon. Guess what? THEY DID!!
The motel staff was very friendly. They have excellent rooms here. I even asked if anybody was above me, because I do not like the foot traffic and noise, they said no and I suspect they did not put anybody there just for me. I appreciate that very much.
