The one good thing I can say was that the people at the front desk were very friendly and personable. But once we got past check-in, the entire rest of the stay was an absolute nightmare.
We had dressy clothes because we were there to attend a graduation, but there was no place to hang them up. There also was no power outlet in the bathroom, so I had to use an outlet out in the room, standing in the bathroom doorway trying to see myself in the tiny bathroom mirrow (there was no other mirror in the room).
There was some kind of water leak in the bathroom--in the wall behind the bathtub faucet, I think--and it was coming up into the carpet in the room as well as through the floor tiles in the bathroom. Walking from the carpeted room into the bathroom, we were tracking mud from somewhere (was the carpet REALLY that filthy??)
The lighting in the room was terrible, and the bed had a sag in the middle that meant it was impossible to keep the bedding in place and sleeping was difficult and uncomfortable.
There also seemed to have been some people there who were living in some of the other rooms, evidently because they had nowhere else to go. There was a van filled with someone's worldly possessions, a trailer covered with a tarpaulin, a car up on blocks.
We booked the room from Priceline.com, and they said nothing about it being this horrible. Plus which, to make matters worse, we ended up paying $150 for a two-night stay in a tiny, filthy, dingy, uncomfortable room with a soggy floor!
Never. Again.
