“Rude staff”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

While staying there, we walked our dog late at night and found a woman passed out on the street so we came back to the room to report it to 911. A few minutes later the front desk clerk POUNDED on our door yelling "open up". I opened the door and she wanted to know why we called 911 so I told her. It was 1 am and I am sure she woke up all the nearby rooms. I said something about this to the new clerk in th emorning and he justified her behavior by saing, well, we have had people pass out in the rooms before. I said she could have knocked quietly first and if we didn't answer then she could pound. He then said "i guess so, sorry".

The rooms have had a fcelift, but the air/heat units smell. The bedframe was gross and it looked like they never vacuum under the beds. The bed was cheap and the pillows were lumpy.

Room Tip: Since you hear other ac/heat units run, get a room with the least number of neighbors. The rooms in...

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

The campus inn was a great stay for me as I was traveling by myself. I brought my laptop with me and there is free wifi, for those who forgot their laptops at home there is a complimentary computer for guest use in the reception area. There is a hot tub and a mini gym so I was able to do my morning run and relax without leaving the premises. The rooms were neat, clean, and comfy and was a great bargain for the price. I had an upstairs bedroom so I didn't hear any of the other guest upon my stay.

What I liked the most was the fact that there was a receptionist at the front desk at all times and they made me feel secure upon my stay. They were very friendly and helpful and recommended an amazing Thai restaurant called Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine down the block. They even gave me a coupon for a free appetizer (if you ever drop by, I suggest getting the 3 flavored halibut, it is to die for). I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, it was a great plus for me since I like something on the light side in the morning. It's geared for those who are about to head out with a little muffins, bagels, coffee, hot chocolate etc... I'll be coming back if I were ever in town again to visit my friends.

Amazingly quiet - walking distance to downtown . . . top quality furniture and bedding - couldn't ask for more. We've stayed several times - would never think to stay anywhere else . . . friendly staff - VERY comfortable stay.

“Fantastic with a capital F!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012 via mobile

I came and stayed for a night and had the best experience. Polite staff, free wifi, clean and comfortable room, and a hot tub. Not to mention the hotel is centrally located in the heart of downtown Eugene- walking distance to everything. I was very pleased with my stay and will for sure come again.

I stayed here while I was on a visit to see my sister at the University for a few days and my experience was nothing but positive. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and I didn't hear anyone else around me from the adjacent rooms which is has always a big concern for me when I travel since I am a light sleeper. The breakfast they offer is perfect for someone on the go and the Starbucks coffee is a nice bonus. Not to mention the location is awesome if you are looking to be close to both downtown and the University. I will definitely come to stay here again next time I am in town to visit my sister.

Room Tip: I was told that pets are allowed but only on the lower floors, so if you are traveling without an an...
