Full City's baristas are pretty uniformly excellent, and their coffee is good, but to be honest, the main reason I go to is for their chocolate lattes. They make their own chocolate paste which is TO DIE FOR and stir it into their cappuccinos and lattes -- it's a mocha like no other.
The 13th and High cafe is my favorite for ambiance -- a bright, pleasant space with lots of students -- but the Pearl Street cafe is where their bakery is, so you can get a better selection of pastries there.
I buy my whole-bean coffee here sometimes; I'd say that their Sumatra and (when they have it) Ethiopian blends are second only to Eugene's Wandering Goat coffee.
My husband goes to work early, and so he really likes that they open early on weekdays (5:30 AM at Pearl Street and 6 AM on High Street). Last but not least, I have almost never been served by anyone at Full City who wasn't cheerful and friendly.
