If you are traveling toward Crater Lake or just heading to Crescent Lake, Crescent, OR you will be delighted with the accomodations. You just wouldn't expect to find such an adorable, comfortable and lovingly cared for motel on a little highway. Everything in the room is new, extremely clean, and comfy and soundproofed. The Larson family has done a fabulous job of renovating this adorable place. Right next door is a terrific restaurant, The Mohawk. Its a great stop!

I was in my room when I heard the Host/Owner screaming at a man and his wife for trying to put a dirty diaper from their newborn into the dumpster he called the man a dips@#$ while claiming how much more money he had than the man. When the man told him to smile he called him a f^&*ing low life. Mind you he yelled this across the parking lot. There were multiple other obscenities yelled from the host towards the man and his wife and child. We experienced some other incidents with them that led us to believe that the pair are not cut out for the HOSPITALITY trade.

I'll start out by declaring I am a vegetarian. The decor is heavily (and I mean heavily) pro-hunting (antler horns, moose lotion containers) and kitchy-lodge like. Our acrylic toilet seat had (I'm assuming real) bullets imbedded. That being said, the accommodations were extremely well planned: table lamps/floor lamps/overhead lighting everywhere, a makeup mirror in the bathroom, a table and chairs for a breakfast by the window, and pillowtop mattresses to die for. They thought of everything, even a light over the coffee maker. Very, very comfortable. What a pleasant, surprising, and restful stay. The Woodsman Country Lodge will pleasantly surpass your expectations. Highly, highly recommended.

Don't EVER, I repeat EVER stay at this hotel!! The host and hostess are the rudest, meanest, nastiest people we have ever met in our lives! Late at night we pulled into their parking lot to readjust some of our belongings that had fallen in the back seat, when our 2 dogs accidentally lept out onto the asphalt. Seconds later the hostess came over screaming and yelling in a huge rage at us to get off her property. The host yelled at us too. We were in their lot for less than 60 seconds. Can you imagine if I had had a flat tire in their parking lot? He probably would have shot all of us, he was that mad! It's too bad too, because I always wanted to buy a wood carving or something from their gift shop. Now I will never go back!!
