I was hoping for a nice campsite in the woods, but we got more of an RV/city park, with campsites crammed together around a big loop. There are some nice trees, but it certainly isn't in the woods, and is right next to the highway.
The lake is beautiful, but swimming locations at the campsite are pretty scarce.
A bit dumpy; our fire pit was filled with trash and egg shells and other gross stuff that we had to clean ourselves. Woman at the front was a bit rude as well (nothing terrible, just not the most welcoming)
The bathrooms are nice and there is a little playground for the kids if that's what you're in to.
All in all, if you're looking to "camp" without leaving your comfort zone whatsoever, this is the place for you. But if you're looking for some real camping with a little privacy, look elsewhere.
