“Pretty noisy...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

This hotel looks good from the street, and is remodeled inside, but there were some odd things about our stay. We checked in about 5 p.m. and they were still cleaning. As a matter of fact, they were vacuuming the hallways at 7 that evening. There were no towels or soaps in our room, so I think we probably interrupted their cleaning before they were finished.
The room was comfortable enough, the beds were great, but the walls are very thin. You could hear every little sound throughout the hotel.
An okay place to stay, but would probably ask for a room away from other guests, if possible.

“Great Value for Money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2011

We were on our way to Crater Lake while stopping in the this Best Western. Although I had few disappointments with BW in the past (e.g. Grand Canyon or later this weekend with their Salem Inn location) we were very pleased with Cottage Grove one. The place was recently renovated, the room we got was real nice, flat screen TV and free Wifi. Breakfast was as bad as any other hotel/motel I've traveled in the states and Canada!

If you are traveling the I-5 corridor through Washington, California, and Oregon and you find yourself tired and ready to stop, this Best Western is a fine choice. It's clean, the room was really large, and there was breakfast. If your taste runs to biscuits, gravy, meat patties, and pre-made omelets stuffed with cheese slices, then you've got a place you'll really like. It's right off the freeway.

“Re-Newed, Re-Furnished, entire Property looks Brand New”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 June 2011

Looked at the other two top rated Motel/Hotel properties listed by Trip Adviser in Cottage Grove before actually checking in here. The property is very nicely re-furbished. New Lobby, electronic door for easy luggage cart roll-in, new tile, wall paper, light fixtures all in the new tech-no mod style; East West Fusion. The manager noted that the property was totally re-done the winter of 2010/11. Room was quiet, new beds, slept great, used the in-door pool and spa, both were toasty a nice surprise in-doors, outside that night it was cold and rainy. The Indian Food place 2 doors down had very good food, the down town is very quaint also looks recently re-hab'dand this place is known for it's covered bridges and winery tours, which I want to bring the wife back for. Break-fast the next morning was actually very good and fresh, another surprise the omlette looked pre-made, but was really good, sausage paddy's and all the Fix'ns, they even had biscuits and gravy! Under a $100.00 was a bargain-This would be my pick again for Cottage Grove.

“Surprisingly nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2010

This hotel now has a name "Cottage Grove Inn" soon to be Best Western. It was very clean and looks like it has been recently painted and redone. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very small but adequate and the pool/spa which is indoors looked like a good spot though I didn't use it. The staff was friendly, helpful and the morning breakfast included in price was surprisingly a full breakfast and not just sugar and yogurt. Free wifi in the room was a plus. I'm not sure I would spend a vacation here but it was perfect for staying a couple of nights to go to a family memorial.
