We have stayed several times at the Myrtle Lane Motel when attending the community's Sawdust Theater. It is an old-time motel (the owner told me it is the only business surviving from when the street in front of the motel was the main route through town) but is really nicely maintained, impeccably clean, and a fine place to stay. On a summer weekend in 2011, the rate for my wife and I was $60. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. If we needed lodging any place near Coquille, we'd go back in a heartbeat.

We like to stay at small, non-chain motels and this place fit the bill. It was older, but well kept and great service. It seemed really busy, and we were not traveling at a peak time so maybe it's a well kept secret?? We have stayed a few different places in Coos Bay and not been impressed, this will now be our go-to when in the area. All amenities were there, but basic; but it all worked just fine. The price was good for what we got.

I have stayed at the Myrtle Lane motel on two occasions. Always clean and neat with a great attitude right out of the 50's. Both visits were on motorcycles so we needed a location the was also close to eats. Right next door was a great place for food. Had everything needed, refer, microwave, coffee pot, ice machine. No air conditioner but not needed once the sun went down. One story with parking right in front of the room. People at the front office were always nice and had a great sense of humor. Comfy homey atmosphere. No wonder the place fills up even during the slow season. We always call for a reservation just to make sure we can get a room. Hm... maybe I should not give this a good review so I can make sure we can get in the next time we are in the area. Some great motorcycle roads in the area.

The Myrtle Lane is an amazing family run motel in Coquille, Oregon. The nightly rate for a single person is $50 and the weekly rate is $300. The motel's office is run by a lovely older man that is very knowledgeable about Coquille and the area. The motel is centrally located for Myrtle Point and Coquille in Coos County, Oregon.

The room I stayed in had a full size bed and a lovely bathroom. Inside the bathroom was a heat bulb and small vanity for putting on makeup. There is excellent wi-fi in the room, along with a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. Also included is a tv with cable and an alarm clock/radio.

In the office of the motel there's postcards for sale and tons of travel brochures.
