This B&B offers everything--great gourmet breakfasts, friendly staff, dogs welcome at no extra charge, an absolutely stunning en-suite room, lovely common areas, a quiet neighborhood, travel information--what more could you ask! The Victorian Room is your best choice, but other rooms are very nice as well, although the carpeting in some bedrooms needs attention. But the grandeur of the house itself overshadows small flaws and the lovely antiques that decorate in each bedroom and the common make very nice eye candy. Stay during off-season for bargain rates.

The new owners are sincere and try hard to please. It is obvious that they are attempting to upgrade this B & B as a labor of love. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and the features of this historic home charming.

The new owners took over 4 days before we arrived. They tried to be helpful, but the place just doesn't make it.
Our room did not give the appearance of being clean and there were holes in the sheets!
I hope they can clean it up because they seem like nice people. Problem is that running a B&B is not their primary business.

We went down to see Shore Acres Park Christmas lights and wanted to find a place to stay. We wanted to take our 2 westies with us. I searched on the internet for a bed and breakfast and came up with this one. They had a discount for December and it really fit our budget. The place is very close to downtown and very convenient to everything. The owners are wonderful hosts and Jon is a fantasic artist. I was able to purchase one of his original paintings. The two dog hosts are wonderful too. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The 1912 house is beautiful and spacious. We felt right at home. Don't hesitate to stay here as you won't be disappointed. The only bad thing that I could say is that we didn't have more time to stay. Thanks for the great time....
