I regretted choosing this hotel. We almost had to change rooms, due to ants marching in the window and a leaky sink faucet that they could not fix... looking at the amount of long-term damage to the counter, it had been an issue for quite sometime. We wrapped towels around the faucets. Unfortunately, we stayed at this hotel for almost a week on our road trip. There was no closet/hanging rod to put our clothes upon. Not much storage at all. The bathroom and bedroom were some of the smallest, tightest we had been in. There was no eating table, since one would not fit. We had difficulty plugging in our computer/electronics, as they had few outlets. The breakfast was drab, scant, and the breakfast room was usually very crowded. They did have one coffee dispenser that had particularly good coffee. But, I will go across the highway to stay at a nicer, roomier hotel next time I'm in Portland. The staff did try to address some of the issues, but I wish the issues were not there to begin with!

I stay at this Days Inn on a regular basis - minimum of 3-4 times a month. The staff is very friendly and remembers all of my requests so that when I call for my next visit I never have to ask. The location is close to everything you could want and only a short commute to the airport. I have never had an issue with any accommodations that wasn't resolved immediately (more towels, etc). If you want a decent room at an excellent price in a great location - go here!

Friendly staff, spacious enough rooms.

But:

a. Bath towels so thin that 2 are needed to dry off after a shower;
b. A workout room without either air conditioning (impossibly hot in August) or TV;
c. Queen-size bed blankets on king-size bed;
d. "Continental" breakfast without pastries other than doughnuts and overly sweet muffins;
e. Elevators so hot within that one can work up a sweat between two floors.

Never will I return.

Room was clean but dark - not much lighting. Lobby and halls were not air conditioned. There were four of us in the room and only three sets of towels in the room. We called the front desk and requested another set. It never came. The breakfast was horrible. Tables were dirty. Juice was watered down and tasted awful. One of the waffle makers was not working. My friend's daughter went to peel what she thought was a boiled egg and it exploded - it was still raw! Ruined breakfast for all of us. Spa and exercise room were closed. Great location for shopping at Clackamas Town Center but that's about it. Won't stay here again. Not the best part of our girls' weekend!!
