I read the reviews, they are old and quite negative. I agree with the ones who said planning in advance is necessary. They have great sites here, in the back in the trees. True the tent sites up front by the road are open and not private. That's where planning ahead comes in. We have stayed here for the past few years and have experienced polite staff with great senses of humor and a sense of pride in their work. The park is a few minutes from downtown CB and the beach. True when we have stayed in summer the place is crowded and people are very close together. It's that way in the majority of parks. We've stayed at parks where we can see in the RV next to us so that's the way it is. I've used the public bathrooms, they were clean. Not the Ritz Carlton but this is an RV park. At least we don't have to put quarters in for hot water. Watching the bunnies is great, there are elk, eagles, hawks, coyotes and in spring different species of birds by the jillions. Rather than sit around and complain about the facilities plan ahead, get out and enjoy what CB has to offer and then say hello to your close neighbor. People have interesting stories. Oh, and if you can see a play at the Coaster Theater it's a must!
