We have been camping here for several years now. We are local and find it convienant to camp near our businesses and still be able to have the feeling of getting away.
Last year we booked our spot for this year. Upon arriving I told the person that I wanted to book the same spot for next year for the same amount of days (8). She said "no problem, I'll take care of it" she then took my credit card and did the paperwork. "I ASSUMED" that she had taken care of it right then and there. My mistake. A few days later I just wanted to double check that my reservation was made for our favorite spot. NOOOO! She had not done what she said and had let someone else book the spot I had FIRST reserved. The manager, Michele, who is also the mother of the girl that checked me in, said she would call the people and see if she could fix the problem. Because she didn't just tell them that her daughter had made a mistake and move them, my family is SOL with a "discount and a crappy spot, and I was told that I should know the correct procedure of checking in and reserving a spot. It was my fault. I'm hoping to get a hold of the owners and see if they will do anything. So much for supporting our local businesses.

We pulled in at 930pm and out jumped a fellow camper with a HUGE spot light!!! That was great help backing our brand new 31 foot trailer in(for our first time). We asked for a larger space just to be sure we could back in, no problem, hook ups are in great shape and very up to date. Park like setting is beautiful and the showers are to die for. We will be back many times in the future.....we are planning our next trip, and we just got back yesterday!!!!! The staff are super friendly and the campers were very polite and friendly. 10 thumbs up for this place.....Oh did I forget to mention how CLEAN everything was!!!!! Oh and sooooo pet friendly!

I read the only other review of this park and was thoroughly dismayed! This is our favorite campground during the winter and spring months in the Pacific Northwest! We have stayed here numerous times since 2002, including every April during spring break. It is our favorite spot to get away! There are so many things for our kids to do even if it's raining! We love the warm indoor swimming pool, the large hot tub, and our kids enjoy playing on the playground and the basketball court. Plus, the little store and recreation room provide other entertainment. (We found the best marshmallow roasting sticks there.)
It's only blocks from the beach, and we enjoy walking or riding our bikes over to it. Also, we're able to run into downtown Cannon Beach and enjoy all the sights and sounds! It's a short drive over to Seaside as well. We have always been treated well by the staff, and have recommended this park to many of our friends who have come stayed along with us.

Arrive on July 20, 2006 from southern California and was told park was totally full by the manager. I had informed him that we had made the reservations in Feb 06, he then stated their computer system went down in April 06 and they lost all their data. I did not buy that!!! He said we could park in the parking lot of the facility and in the morninig our sport that was suppose to be ours would be ready. I told him we did not come all this way to dry camp in your parking lot and that this would be a story for Good Sam. He said "go ahead and report me, your the 6th person that is upset with me and don't make me POP!" I toke that as if he would be ready to come accross the counter and what to get physical, I told him Your problem is not my problem, then my wife asked him, "how do you want customers to act after you have charged thier credit cards more than six months ago, sent out a confirmation letter and your going to tell me all this when we arrive?? Don't you keep a copy of the confimation letter that you send out? He stated NO!!. I guess they will now. I found it hard to believe that they don't. ANy how I told him you better put us up in a hotel for the night. So he did. So my wife and 2 kids spent 1 of our 3 nights in a hotel when we should have been in the rv park that we reserved and payed for six months ago.
