We took a road trip down the coast. Before stopping in Brookings, we checked out reviews on TA and this place sounded OK. When we checked in it was pouring rain so we thought the carports at the front doors would be a great plus. That was the last nice touch. The room was old, not quaint, and because of the carports, very dark and cave like. We tried to connect to the Wifi and called the owner at the front desk for password. She stated we had to come to the office to get it. The code was literally 40 letters, numbers and symbols (they were afraid of "hackers")! We could not get into the internet and neither could the owner. That was the last straw. We asked for our money back, left and went down the road to a better rated motel, Wild Rivers. What a difference for the same price...Bigger room, clean, open and Wifi.
