Great place for a central Oregon getaway on a budget. Set a couple miles outside of Bend at the head of a hiking/biking trail. It is quiet and relaxing, away from the crowded downtown but close to shopping, restaurants, and the pretty river walk in Bend. Perfect for bikers and joggers. Easy drive to beautiful state parks. Has both a pool and a hot tub. Kid friendly.

If you want to be near downtown bend, this is not a good choice but if you want to be out of town on the way to hiking or winter sports then try this place. Its on Century Drive in a grove of trees so a nice setting. Its been around many years so dont expect new. its more like a single story motel in a tree grove then a lodge. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable and ours had a fridge and microwave and was on the pool courtyard. The lobby is huge with a big breakfast room and an okay breakfast but unfortunately it doesnt start until 7am so no chance to get to the outdoor activities early if you eat it. There was no guest computer in the lobby. You do get some morning noise from traffic on Century Drive.

I have stayed here for business and for leisure many times since 2001. While it is not the most sophisticated establishment, it makes it up in personality and quiet location. The staff is very accommodating, pleasant and informative. If you are looking for glitz, pick another spot. If you are looking for simplicity and solitude, look no further!!

The Entrada is hidden gem in Bend! The rooms are modest, but include a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The prices are awesome and the location is the best especially if you are traveling with dogs. The miles of trails right outside your room door are exceptional! It's also a super quick trip up Cascade Highway to Mt Bachelor and the Three Sisters Wilderness. I've stayed there many times over the years most recently during a half marathon event in Shevlin Park. The pool, and hot tub are wonderful bonuses!
