“Will Never Stay Anywhere Else in Bend!”

Just returned from our second visit to Bend and Hillside Inn. Annie, the innkeeper, is the perfect host. This is not your typical old-fashioned Bed and Breakfast. Hillside Inn is just lovely with contemporary furnishings, brightly colored rooms and all the luxurious touches you would find in a 5 star hotel - flat screen TV's, duvets, slippers, complimentary drinks and treats in your room. Annie thinks of everything! The breakfasts she serves every morning are amazing! We will never stay anywhere else in Bend.

“Affordable Elegance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2011

What I loved about the Hillside Inn is the high quality and impeccable detail that has been provided by the Innkeeper Anne Goldner. She has spared no expense for the decor of the rooms, the quaint landscape and patios, and the food that she provides.
I stayed in the Studio Suite because I had my Jack Russell Terrier travel companion with me. The Hillside is very dog friendly and Penny was made to feel right at home. The Inn is walking distance to Newport Market, very nice restaurants and downtown as well. I got some food at Newport Market and came back and used the beautiful kitchen to get it ready. I also treated myself to the hot tub out on the private patio. This Inn makes you feel like you are staying at a friend's house. Anne made an incredible breakfast of the freshest most wholesome food which was perfect as I am a really healthy eater. She has thought of everything and I would highly recommend staying at the Hillside Inn if you are not a hotel person and want some much more class for the same price.

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 October 2010

Spent 3 nights at this wonderful b & b, which only has 2 rooms. the other room was unoccupied during our stay so we had Annie the proprietor all to oursevesThe location is excellent being in a quiet residential area 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Bend with it's many bars and restaurants, but also within easy driving of many lake and mountain walks/hikes
Annie provided us not only with 3 exceptional breakfasts but also with her own warm company at the breakfast table. We generally don't visit places more than once but we are definitely thinking of returning to Bend and the Hillside B & B

“We can't wait to return!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2010

We chose Annie's B&B because it was a perfect location for us to move our daughter into her new apartment near COCC/OSU. But we would return to the Hillside Inn as a vacation in itself! We felt so well taken care of that we may as well have checked into a spa. The lovely breakfasts, luxurious comforts and warm hospitality made it hard to say goodbye. We look forward to our next visit.

“This is one B&B that cannot possibly disappoint you.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2010

I had the pleasure to stay at the Hillside B&B for two consecutive nights in the middle of August and is was just plain perfect. I've been to a few B&Bs in the Northwest and this one is the best by a mile.
My highlights: 1) the quality of the bedrooms. Including comfort, silence, cleanliness and also a nice personal touch as far as decoration.
2) the exceptional quality and homemade feel of the food. It's also all very healthy, organic and low-cal if you're into that. (and you should be!!).
3) the location, close to nice restaurants, not necessary expensive on Galveston/Newport areas.

Annie, the owner, is extremely helpful, friendly, agreeable (we arrived very late) and entertaining, all while leaving you with a very pleasant sense of privacy. If you miss your Mom and like to be pampered, but still want time alone in your room, spend a couple nights here and all the worries in the world will disappear.

Thanks again, Annie!!
