If you are looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located B&B in Bend, this is it. Annie is the perfect balance between attentive, helpful, informative, and accommodating without hovering. The breakfasts were great: quantity, quality, and variety. It's all there. Being from Portland, we were familiar with the Bend area and its amenities, but had freinds in from out of town and wanted to spend a couple of days showing them the lure of Central Oregon. Not necessaily wanting to stay in a hotel, we opted for the Hillside Inn after searching online for available properties. I called and spoke to Annie, the proprietor, ahead of making a booking, and she was very responsive and open to answering all of my questions. I booked both rooms for the four of us immediately.

Upon our arrival, we were met by Annie and given the tour of the propery and were quite pleased with the presentation. The spaciousness of the rooms, amenities provided and overall first-class quality of the property as well as manicured grounds made us feel instantly at home. Annie's hospitality was warm but not invasive and it was obvious that she genuinely cared about our needs and wants. The food was phenomenal - not your typical B&B bagels and fruit. And the service was superb.

All of the furnishings in the rooms are top-line . . . no cutting corners here! Everything you would want in a five-star hotel is at the Hillside Inn, but with much more in ambience and personal touch service. This is a great place for a weekend (or more) getaway if you're looking for an out of the way spot that is very accessible to downtown Bend and offers all the comforts of home.

You will not find a better, more comfortable location. Annie's personal attention to detail is second to none. We will be back for sure!

A beautifully presented B&B with a most gracious hostess in Annie. Bend is a very pretty town and the Hillside Inn fitted in perfectly.
There are two self-contained units in the B&B. Every conceivable requirement had been anticipated and we had a most relaxing and enjoyable time there.
Wi-Fi was fully available as well as cable television.
If we ever return to Bend this would be the place that we would like to stay at.

What an unexpected surprise staying at one of the best B and B's we've ever stayed in . My husband and I took a trip to see one of the places on our "bucket list" recently, and were so happy that we chose to stay at the Hillside Inn B and B.
Upon our arrival, Annie met us at the door, with a smile, and a " what can I help you with while you are staying here in Bend?". She is well educated about the area, certainly knows how to cook up a great breakfast, invites you into one of the most comfortable "homes away from home" we've ever been to, and last but least, leaves you to relax in her home which is cozy, comfortable and has every amenity one would need. ( hot tub, nice comfortable beds, nice snacks in room, great decorating and CLEAN ) The location of the B and B is ideal.... you can walk to restaurants, to renting bikes, to the best grocery store around or just walk out the door to take a great walk up to view the snow covered mountains... in the middle of June. The heart of downtown Bend is also very close by, and is not to be missed. Many fine restaurants and shops.
We will definitely be back to Bend, and will most definitely stay with Annie at the Hillside Inn B and B.
