The room here was basic and acceptable--good value for the room. But the breakfast was almost non-existent: there were only a couple of items set up in the office, little seating space and very uncomfortable.

The rooms were very clean. Plenty of towels. The shower was great and the tub, wall surrounds and fixtures looked new. Boyd's Coffee in the room was great. A refrigerator came in handy to store the child's milk and the microwave to warm the milk afterwards. The 27" TV was older but the sound and picture quality was great. Close to super markets and downtown. Away from the street and noise. Did I forget the warm swimming pool that was open although the outside temperatures were a bit nippy. I would highly recommend this place for the person wanting to save money and have a good nights rest.
In town visiting family and stayed at the Econo Lodge in the middle of town. Nice, clean, updated rooms. Check-in was smooth as we already had a reservation. The location was great because we were close to everything. Great dinner restarurant right next door. Fenced outdoor pool was clean and nice. We have no problem recommending this location to others.
First of all my rating reflects hotels in this "Class". I booked this room with points from my phone and pulled into the parking lot about 5 minutes later and the front desk lady had the reservation and room all ready. Refreshing to go into a motel office that doesn't smell like curry and one where you can understand the front desk person. Anyway the room was once again surprising ok for an econo lodge with what appeared to be very recently updated kohler fixtures in the bathroom. I have stayed in much much worse places for much more money than these rooms go for (about 55 bucks I think). There appeared to be only a couple of people staying at the motel while we were there so it was pretty quiet. Once again, pretty good for very cheap. Did find an old cigarette burn hole in the duvet, never use them anyway though.
My husband and I stayed here for the 2 nights before checking into our favorite Bed and Breakfast, so we weren't expecting much. However, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. It was larger than we expected and we really liked the layout The shower and toilet was in a seperate room with the sink and mirror right outside. We had two beds in our room and there was even room left for a desk, dresser and small table with 2 chairs. The t.v. was on top of the dresser/t.v. stand and we got a lot of channels. They even offered free wi-fi, which we used. The connection wasn't excellent, but it worked. We were on the 2nd floor of two and I'm glad we choose this because several times as we walked around our room, we heard the floor squeak and figured our downstair neighbors heard it too,. The bath tub even squeaked. One of the only downsides was the shower, which also became a bathtub from a drain that didn't drain properly. It wasn't full by any means at the end of my long, hot shower, but it did cover my feet. The beds seemed clean enough and overall, we enjoyed our room.
The continental breakfast was bags of instant oatmeal, small cartons of cheap o.j., cereal bars, individually wrapped Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and coffee. Not grand but it was free! And in todays society, that's saying a lot for a hotel to still offer free stuff!
