Stayed here for one night and if you're looking for the budget stay for one night or two, this place fits the bill. Do NOT expect much in terms of accommodations as hardware is fairly worn. It had the old-school fat TVs with no PPV features and carpeting, bedding, and wallpaper was very used.

A nice benefit for the place is it did have a microwave and functioning fridge in the room.
Bathroom served its purpose, nothing too little, nothing too much.

Location was ok and public amenities were sparse as I didn't have an experience in using anything at this motel.

I frequently stay at choice hotels, but stay away from teh econolodge brand because of the bad properties in that group, but after reading reviews, decided to give this one a try, and i was not dissapointed.

Fist of all, this is strictly a budget property - dont go here expecting luxury.
The rooms were clean, and nicely appointed - mine had fridge/microwave and nice large tv, with good channel selection.
pool was nicely heated and appeared to be well maintained.
breakfast was good - english muffins to toast, otis spunkmeyer muffins, juice/coffee, and some fruit - just enough to get you started.
Location was on main N-S through street (3rd av), but in the older part of town. Lots of older mom and pop type of hotels near by.
area was safe and quiet.
easy access to restaraunts and shopping (.75 mi to downtown shopping)

Greeted pleasantly when I arrived.
New pillow-top mattresses in all the rooms, quite comfortable.
The continental breakfast available consisted of English muffins, small cartons of orange juice, coffee, and maybe something else. A little sparse, but for the $50 I paid for AARP rate, I couldn't complain.

Customer service was great. From upgrading our room to a double just a few hours before our arrival, to getting new batteries for the remote and borrowing an iron - the front desk was friendly and ready and willing to help. Pet friendly with a nice grassy area by the pool. The pool and surrounding area was nice and clean enough that I let our 3 year old use it - she had a blast. The room was suitable. It was older but clean for the most part. My only "complaint" was that the carpet was really dirty, which we noticed because our crawling infant had black knees and hands.
Very easy to find, but tucked back off the main road so road noise wasn't an issue (although the diesel pickup starting up outside the room at 6 am on Saturday is something you may have to deal with - an unavoidable issue when staying at a motel).
All in all, a pleasant stay! Oh! I almost forgot the best part! Free WIFI in the room!!!
