We recently stayed here for two nights. Overall, this wasn't a bad place. On our first night, I noticed a hair on the bedsheets, but didn't think anything of it. But then I saw another one stuck to the bathroom wall behind the door. The next morning, I mentioned it to the person at the front desk (because we also needed one of those plastic laundry bags, which was not left in the closet), and she apologized and also took notes, saying that she would look into it. Well, when we came back that night, I noticed that the hair was still stuck to the wall in the bathroom! So to us, it seemed that being told it would be looked into was really just "all talk and no action", as I would have expected that since we went out of our way to mention this, we wouldn't see it again the next day. Granted, we tend to be overly picky when it comes to cleanliness, but our concern obviously wasn't addressed, thus making us feel that other things may not have been so clean in the room, either (as a side note, I also had a couple of small dark spots on my sheet, which appeared to be dried blood, but I cannot verify that, and that certainly didn't help our feelings about cleanliness in this hotel).

Other reviewers have mentioned the large size of the rooms -- personally, I did not think they were that large. And, I would have to say that the breakfast provided is very weak compared to most other hotels we've stayed at recently. But when looking at the amenities section of the hotel website for this property, it does state "continental breakfast", so I suppose that would be accurate.

Overall, it's not a bad place to stay. But, if you're extra picky about the cleanliness of your hotel room like we are, you may want to give this place a try and do an extra check of your room, just to be sure that it is acceptable. The hair on the wall (especially still being there after mentioning it to the front desk person) and the dark red spots on the bedsheet would probably make us think twice about staying at this property again.

Very large rooms and a comfy bed. Kitchenette in the rooms. Friendly front desk staff and the pool is great. Excellent value. Clean.

Stayed just 1 night in Bend--great room--large, sunny, immaculately clean, friendly staff. They let us check in early and opt for a late check out. breakfast was standard continental fare, nothing special. The pool is nice and warm, and big enough for (small) laps. Spa is also a good size. Location is excellent--close to the Old Mill district mall, and close to our activities of biking and rafting. We walked to the Sun Country Rafting business 1 block away! Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very nice. It's clean and the room we had was big! The front desk was very helpful. We are a family of 5 and this will definitely be the place we stay at the next time we visit Bend!

** Bonus - The Original Pancake House is literally right next door! Best breakfast around!
