Great place for the night.Everything you need within easy walk.if your passing through stay here.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Older property, but in someways better for that. Good size room, if a little dark in the daytime. Absolutely quiet at night, which is the most important thing for me. Clean when we arrived, altho the room wasn't hoovered in the 3 days we were there. The breakfast was dire-coffee undrinkable, OJ diluted and sweet, bread cheap. There is a dollar store in town, maybe the breakfast was bought from there.
However, it was cheap(so who cares about breakfast), the room was quiet and comfortable, I don't hoover my own house every 3 days either !
You could walk into the gem of a town that is Baker City too. Marvellous place. Eat at the Geiser Grand, or the Brewpub,( where the beer is over rated)

Stayed here June 23, 2011. Very large room with dressing area apart form bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was pretty good. This was the only hotel we stayed at on our trip that had a waffle iron. It had a very attractive appearance and good views of the surrounding mountains. We would definitely stay here again. Only possible negative was that they have no pool, put work in conjunction with another hotel and can give a voucher to use one down the street a couple blocks. This is no longer a major problem for us.

Our prior stay in a Rodeway was not real pleasant, but this one is really great. Very distinctive outdoor styling, kind of adobe meets old time fort. Check in took less than 2 minutes. Desk worker was very friendly. We had a first floor room and could park right outside our room. The room had slightly worn carpet but other than that is was very clean. Beds were hard, which I like, but the rest of the family thought them too firm. Bathroom is large with sink outside the shower/toilet area, yet not in the room. Really helped with multiple people trying to get ready in the morning. Room had microwave, fridge, tv, iron, ironing board. Break fast included OJ, milk, coffee, white bread, two kinds of muffins and waffles. Not the Ritz, but really nice on a road trip. No pool.
