I've stayed in a number of Hampton Inns around the country and the state, and this is the most poorly managed one I've ever encountered. The hotel itself is older but OK, generally well kept, but it doesn't have the public spaces of newer ones and the breakfast area is particularly problematic. Rooms and cleanliness are OK, but nothing special. The front desk staff is abrupt, bordering on rude. If you're not expecting a typical Hampton and if you're willing to put up with a generally abrupt staff, it's OK. Ask for a room away from the highway. My next time in Yukon, however, I'll try the HI-E.
Room Tip: I-40 is near to some rooms; ask for the other side of the hotel.
