My wife and I checked into the hotel on Jan. 10, 2012. Found our room to be very cold and the A/C unit blasting out cold air. Moving the thermostat did no good and after a while I called and asked about the heat. I was told the heat was out and being worked on, just turn unit off and it would be OK. Yeah right! After an hour or so, we left the room and stopped at the front desk and inquired again. This time we were told the heat was out and wouldn't be repaired until the next day. We were offered extra blankets!! Extra blankets don't help in the bathroom and shower. I understand mechanical problems happen, but it is very disingenuous to try to hide the problem and not tell me or other guests at check-in about the problem. We lesft immediately and moved to the downtown Doubletree, where we had a very nice room for a lower rate.
