This HGI is really the only "branded" property near the airport. It's certainly at the lower end of the HGI brand quality. The property is showing definite signs of wear - stained carpeting, chipped and worn paint, holes on the walls where the televisions used to be mounted... The window-mounted air-conditioners/heaters seem like they're in competition with the aircraft from next door (very lolund). If you do need to stay here, be sure to request a room on the 3rd (top) floor. I heard every step, every drawer, and every use of the plumbing (sink, toilet, shower) when the person above me got up and moving at 4:00 AM. It was so pronounced that I had no choice but to get up myself.
Given a choice, next time through Tulsa I will either take a taxi or rent a car and go to another HGI or a Courtyard closer to town. (There's an Aloft not too far away that I saw on my way back from dinner)

Thank you for staying at our hotel recently! In response to your comments, I have exciting news to share: we were just approved through Hilton for a renovation of our public areas! We will be replacing all of the carpet, tile, furniture and fixtures in the lobby as well as refreshing many other areas including the bathrooms and pool. Additionally, our fitness center just completed an upgrade with new equipment and a fresh, modern look.
We do apologize about the external noise; being literally on the airport's doorstep has its advantages--like our complimentary shuttle through all of the scheduled flights, on-demand pick up and drop off runs, and the very shortest ride to the airport in all of Tulsa--but it also has its disadvantages.
Thank you again for choosing our hotel, and we hope to host you again in the future! We're very excited to see these things happen at the HGI Tulsa Airport, and hope that you will come check out the changes later in the spring!
