Am rather surprised that no one has reviewed this hotel for over two years -- probably because no one has had anything to complain about here. This is my second time to stay here -- it's my favorite place in Tulsa for just simple basic accommodations.

Location in the center of Tulsa, just off I-44, is perfect. The hotel is clean, looks new even though it's not. Rooms are clean and functional, just like all Sleep Inns design. Breakfast was certainly adequate, including hot items. Desk attendant was very congenial, helping me with some city questions I had. Cracker Barrel and other restaurants are in the area. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

My only tiny complaint would be the pillows. I had 5 or 6 of them (nice and soft), but they were all the small square "throw pillow" size -- no bed-size pillows? But not a big deal -- I normally bring my own anyway, but did not this time for a one night stay. I'll be back again.

When we first walked in, there was no one at the front desk. Our room was smelly and in need of some serious cleaning. The floor was filthy, found a toenail on the floor near the bathroom. The bathroom is a closet with a toliet and shower. The shower door did not open easily. The breakfast in the morning was horrible. The dispenser on the cereal containers weren't working and the coffee was terrible. I would never stay at this hotel again.

I booked this hotel because I did not read one negative review about it. Man, was I wrong!!!

I booked two rooms for my family, 1 room with a king sized bed and a 2 room suite for 2 nights. The room with the king sized bed was okay, but instead of giving me a 2 room suite, I got a 1 room king suite. They said they only had 3 suites and they were all booked, so they couldn't transfer us to the room that I had originally booked, in JANUARY!!!

The sofa bed in the suite (room 116) was falling apart and the blanket had a bright red lipstick stain on it. The shower door wouldn't latch, so the floor was pretty much flooded after. The safe that they provided didn't work. It was also loud. You can hear everyone slam their doors shut at 1 in the morning!

And the keycards!!! I have no idea what was wrong with those keycards. They would not work!!! I had to have them reactivated so many times, that the girl in the front desk ended up giving us new keycards each time. I think by the time we checked out, we turned it 6 keycards and only 1 for each room worked.

The staff was pretty friendly. I guess they had to be with all the hassle my family and I went through. It was all just pretty disappointing.

My wife and I planned a day trip to Tulsa and I booked us at the Sleep Inn. We were very impressed with all aspects of this hotel and highly recommend it to travelers coming to Tulsa.

Check-in was a snap and the counter staff were very friendly. Our room was larger than I expected it to be and was absolutely spotless (which was nice after picking up a filthy rental car). We had a fridge and microwave as well as a reclining chair. Our bed was clean and comfortable.

Downstairs there is a nice indoor pool/sauna/spa with an adjoined excercise room. Again, everything was very clean, which is very important to us. The daily breakfast was good and the staff checked in frequently with us to make sure everything was okay.

The Sleep Inn is located near three major highways (I-44, Sh 169 and SH 51) and is about a 10-minute drive to the airport. Nearby is a Food Pyramid and a Wal-Mart. Also, there is a large mall, a Bass Pro Shop and several restaurants in the vacinity.

If you're staying in Tulsa, do consider this property. We will definitely stay here in the future.
