This Marriott is an older hotel that needs an overhaul. The room we had was dreadfully small even though it had a sleeper sofa, TV, desk, 2 end tables etc. The ceiling had been dropped to a level that most hotels don't have other than Microhotel, mold was on the shower curtain, carpet worn and so on. Absolutely nothing was nearby and we had to travel around 4 miles to a decent restraurant. We were going to stay two nights but after the first decided one night was enough. The breakfast buffett was adequate but the "same old stuff," nothing special even though they charged $7.95 xtra and the coffee was barely warm. Next time we'll research more throughly. We did research on Tripadvisor and thought, surely the bad reviews are the result of the rater having a burr but, in actuality they were correct. It wasn't a disgruntlyed hotel employee. Didn't use the pool (looked clean) or exercise room. Staff was very helpful and accomodating. Hotel was similar to an old La Quinta.

I would like to start off with an apology for your experience at our hotel. I can certainly understand your frustration in not getting what you paid for. We have since then refurbished 15% of our rooms that were having issues and looking in the history, you were in one of them. I hope that the next time you are in Tulsa that you could give us another chance to show you our improvements. I would also like the front desk to give you a better tour of the area. We have several nice restaurants withing walking distance. Please give me a call at 918-660-0646 ext 612 the next time you are in Tulsa and we will give you a nice room to evalute us again. Again, my apologies.
