“if you like mildew!! stay here”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2007

this hotel is centrally located in tulsa and looked pretty nice from the outside.. however when we got into the lobby the smell of mildew andwater damage hit us strong in the face and when we got our room it reaked of mildew also the airconditioner would not get hot and the wallpaper was peeling and torn you could see daylight through parts of the baseboards and it was overall just scuzzy the pool had green and black algae in front of it and there were several rough looking men like construction workers etc just holding their door open in boxers only and men and women walking in and out of each others rooms it seemed like people were prostituting or "turnin tricks" and people would try to wave at me everytime i went out the next morning there was a garbage can turned over in the pool and the continental breakfast area was disgusting and smelled like mildew it was not a good stay but other daysinn locations i have stayed in have been pretty good it just seems this location is very yucky...nasty....

  • Liked — good business center with fax computer and good internet
  • Disliked — too many things to list but mostly the mildew mold smell

“An average night - area seems a little suspect”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 June 2006

We chose this hotel after having a very bad experience trying to check in at a different property down the road in Oklahoma City. It was a pot-luck pick, chosen by looking at signs from the freeway.

The best thing about this hotel was the service. The night clerk was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is located right off the freeway and is tucked behind a Denny's. There is a tremendous amount of construction going on and the whole area seemed congested. We were given a non-smoking room, but clearly someone had been smoking in it (the pillows reeked of cigarette smoke). Still, the room was clean and well maintained. It included a nice-sized refrigerator and microwave.

Overnight, the area seemed loud. We could hear car woofers overnight and the next morning, there were garbage cans floating in the pool, two pairs of men's shoes in the walkway and someone's leftover dinner scattered all over the stairs leading from the second floor of the complex where our room was.

The complimentary breafkast included make-your-own waffles, fruit, pre-packaged pastries, coffee, milk, etc. The garbage can was full, the floor needed a good mopping, the coffee was empty and the waffle cups had been filled to the top by the staff so anyone making a waffle overflowed the machine. The dining area was tiny - two tables and four chairs.

Was it a good choice? The service, the room and the breakfast were all positives for us. The room was $56. Our concerns were more about the environment the property was located in than the property itself. Still, there seemed to be a wide mix of guests - families, construction workers, couples, etc. It was busy, too.
