My sister and I are in Tulsa regularly to care for an elderly aunt, and this is our regular place to stay. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient, the hotel itself is clean and nicely decorated, and the layout of the double rooms is excellent for two people who don't share the same bed. The vanity is in the bed room, so one can be showering or using the toilet while another is using the sink. There is a refrigerator but no microwave, and the fridge is not very cold and does not have a freezer compartment, which brings my rating down a notch. There is a bar in the hotel with a somewhat limited but nevertheless adequate selection of drinks.

The location would not be very convenient if you are passing through Tulsa on an interstate, but if you need to be in the southern part of town, it's near just about everything.

I've stated it in other reviews, I travel a lot for business and I prefer to stay at Hyatt Place. No matter what town I'm in the room is familiar as well as the rest of the hotel. Well laid out and comfortable. All I can do is comment on the condition and location since all Hyatt Places are like this.

The hotel is in good condition. Everything worked and was clean. The desk staff was friendly. The location of this Hyatt Place is great. It's location gives you plenty of places to shop and eat.

The only negative thing I can say is that my room window faced a couple dumpsters and I was awakened by the trucks emptying them. Very noisy.

Daniel at the front desk is as good as it gets! He made us feel like as though we were checking into a 5-star hotel. The hotel lobby and rooms are sparkling clean and comfortable. Breakfast, while not terribly varied, is as advertised, continental. The breakfast service is as pretty as that of a much more expensive hotel. And that's the overall feel...that you are staying at a $200-a-night hotel.

Large trash trucks outside were not so marvelous, especially at 3:30 AM. Not sure if the hotel can do anything about this but it was certainly off-putting, being rudely awakened at that hour. Perhaps a different room location would have averted this problem.

That being said, however, we would stay here again in a heartbeat! This is a good deal for the money.

Stayed at Hyatt Place for nephews wedding on 11-11-11, what a great hotel! Staff could not be any better from front desk staff, morning free breakfast staff and maid service we found everyone gave us a smile. Ordered more coffee, coffee cups, etc. from front desk and within minutes of checking in all were delivered! Charlestons was recommended by front desk plus within walking distance, it was so good we went back (you have to beg them to stop bringing you ice tea and coffee refills). Room was large with 2 beds plus pull out sofa, fridge and very comfortable beds which were wonderful. Only issue was finding our way around Tulsa, GPS device's did not work, talked with many people with same problem. Tip: Just remember that this hotel is behind Sonic, Enterprise Car Rental Co. told us this helpful hint. Just ask front desk for directions before you go anywhere!
