The Quality Inn Stillwater is a nice hotel for what I figure its purpose is: To service the influx that Ok. State University brings during the year. I spent a night here for a college football game, and it was deceptively a good stay.

You do not expect it to be as nice inside, because the outside is not very appealing. The inside looks as though there used to be a courtyard in the middle of the hotel, and glass roof was added on. It was a pleasant surprise, and I think, adds a little charm to the hotel.

This is clearly not a hotel for luxury, but it does what is expected of it with good customer service and clean rooms. The conference area was very small.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling into Stillwater.

The hotel was a holiday inn but now it is Quality inn tried to book room called no answer tried 3 times. Our son stayed in this hotel and was not happy the maid had not cleaned the room when the baseball team got there bed not made floor and towels in bathroom dirty. His air conditioning did not work he changed rooms three times still did not cool. His car was hit in parking lot told manager and they just laughed at us. This hotel is run down needs painting and cleaning I noticed a room when we visited him it had no cover over the window I looked in and it was full of trash on the floor it covered the entire room right next to a room be used by a traveler.

If your looking for a clean hotel this is it. Nice beds, perfect pillows, friendly employees. Having two children we weren't crowded, I will always book our stay here from now on.

The service at check-in was slow.

The toilet in the room didn't flush. When I called the desk, the phone by the bed didn't work - I couldn't hear the other person on the phone. Maintenance worked on the toilet twice but again it didn't work properly. I was told by one person on the desk that we would be switched to another room if they couldn't get the toilet to work. I was told by another person on the desk that we couldn't be given another room because no other rooms were available. I ended up using the public toilet by the pool - no lock on the door, no sink (missing from wall) to wash hands afterward, but I found where the toilet plunger was stored.

The TV remote didn't work at first but maintenance fixed it during the first toilet visit.

The AC was set on max cold and high fan but it didn't cool the room until very early morning.

The place was not clean. The coffee pot in the room didn't look clean. There were coffee spills from a previous occupant on the microwave. Towels from the night before were laying on the floor around the pool. Cup and wrappers were laying on the floor in the game area. A palm tree in the atrium had toppled onto the second floor walkway prior to check-in; it was still there two days later.

If I could have found accommodation elsewhere, I would have left. Pitching a tent for the night would have been an improvement over this hotel.
