The hotel has been newly renovated and it's very tidy and clean. The staff were friendly. Breakfast is laid out in the lobby in a little side area and was very pleasant. The hotel is just off the interstate but we didn't get much traffic noise. There are a couple of eating choices nearby, including a nice pizza place. For the price I thought this hotel was very good as a budget stopover.

We stopped at Microtel on a long trip home from Virginia strictly because there wasn't much other choice in the area and it was late in the day. The room was clean, but tiny. Internet service was substandard. It was also difficult to find a place to eat. Drive on through, don't stop in Sallisaw!

In 2003, we booked rooms here for our church group. Everything
was clean and nice for our overnight stay, and the price was
very reasonable.
In Sept. 2006, we were traveling I-40 and planned our trip so we
could stop at the Microtel Inn in Sallisaw. Again everything
was clean and reasonable. The mattress was a very good one.
The breakfast selection was limited, but sufficent.
We would stay here again.
