Stayed here Jan. 2012, because the other AAA 4-diamond hotel in OKC was booked & there was a recent announcement that this property retained its 4-diamonds. While I have stayed here many times over the last 30 years, this is no longer a 4 diamond property. It's nice, but lacks the special charm and amenities that one expects at a hotel in this price bracket in OKC.
Check-in was fast and polite. Fresh cookies on a platter in the lobby were a nice touch.
Room large with nice furnishings. Flat screen TV a bit small by today's standards. No safe in room; no minibar/fridge; no robe (had to dress to answer door for room service breakfast). There is a one-cup coffee maker in room. Like most high end properties, this one charges $12.95/day for wifi--even just for a smartphone. Business center has one computer (free) for use, with printer. Front desk will make copies at no charge.
Bed had a feather topper on the mattress, that had several feather-ends stuck through to stick into my back. Spent a few minutes finding & removing those from the feather topper.
Despite being on the 8th floor of a 9 floor hotel, and despite being a hallway & another room away from the elevators, beginning about 6 am I heard the elevators & also heard water running.
Room service breakfast was exactly on time, modestly priced, and the food tasted VERY good.
All personnel in the hotel were courteous & pleasant.
While this is still a nice hotel, I don't think its near the equivalent of the other 4-diamond property in OKC.
