This Residence Inn is a reasonable alternative for OKC. Not far off the Interstate and convenient to downtown, it was about one-half the cost of the Residence Inn Bricktown (Downtown Oklahoma City). The rooms are clean and in good repair. (Ours had a light burned out that was never replaced.) The front desk staff and other hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. There is an evening reception Mon-Thurs. and breakfast each morning, but the food quality and choices are just average. There are two computers with internet access in the lobby.

We have "lived" in this hotel for about 3 weeks on this trip. We stayed here 3 weeks on another recent visit. The suite is nice and the weekday daytime front desk personnel are very receptive. We have had some maid service that was unacceptable, but after contacting the front desk the service improved dramatically.

There are indications that there are problems with theft in the area, according to more than one maid and the notices lining the windows on the Tener's Western store signs across the street. I make sure that all my valuables go with me or stay hidden. There seems to be a problem getting hangers to hang enough clothes for such a long stay. We are unusual tenants, bringing more than one or two weeks of clothing.

The room has a stove, dishwasher, regular sized refrigerator, stove and all the amenities for cooking, & a good sized desk great lighting. Our room includes a queen sized bed with nightstands, & living area with a chair, side table, coffee table, floor lamp and small sofa. The bathroom has a heat lamp and the sink area adjacent to the bathroom is spacious with a full mirror. There is also an outdoor swimming pool with a gathering area that includes a bbq grill. Laundry facilities are located in the main office building.

It's a nice place to stay for a short visit.

While I was on business, I brought my wife this time. I wanted to stay in a nice hotel that was a little upscale. The room did have a kitchen, and a fire place. No way to burn a fire, no wood, fire logs or even gas burner. Not necessary, but we paid extra. Bed was extremely firm. Woke up with aching back. We parked where we were told, but there was no lighting from our car to the room. Most things were ok, but just not totally up to par with Marriott. Breakfast was excellent!

My first Residence Inn experience was in OKC Bricktown. The staff is friendly, professional and very helpful. It's in a great location, the property (including rooms) is clean and in case you get hungry or forget to pack something, they have a great little shop in the lobby. I look for a Residence Inn where ever I travel now.
