“Beautiful property, great service”

Not downtown and across from big hospital. Even with Google map, had to call hotel for exit. It's one of those take a right to go left type of deals. Just here for one night; quick check-in, pleasant staff, beautiful huge lobby. Hotel is modern, bright and clean and renovations going on around pool area. The crisp white linens do it all for me. We couldn't get wi-fi, though not sure if was our laptop.

Stayed here through "family and friends" discount, so our breakfast was on the same floor. Only one other family came in while we ate, so I suspect there's another breakfast area. This was the first time I've seen hot scrambled eggs served and sausage. Much more elaborate than the usual breakfast. Staff person right there to pick up plates and assistance. Very nice.

Didn't drive around, but literally within walking distance and on same side of street, is Starbucks, Panera Bread and Schlosky's?? Deli, which served fresh salad and sandwich. We request that our hotel bill be placed under our door, so there is no check-out. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

“Nice stay on NYE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

I have stayed at this hotel a few times before and I have been to several business conferences here as well. The Marriott is located several miles northwest of downtown Oklahoma city. This location is good because it is one mile west of one of OKC premier shopping malls and just one mile south of Lake Hefner that has restaurants on the lake and bike and exercise trails. There are numerous restaurants and shopping within safe walking distance. Also located across the street from Integris Baptist Medical Center. The Marriott has free outside parking and offers two restaurants and one bar. The rooms are very clean and updated. The staff is friendly. When I stayed a couple of years ago I was upgraded to a suite from a regular room for no reason and no additional charge. My wife and I stayed at the Marriott to dance the New Year in at the on-site Russell's lounge. It was a very fun night with a live band. On NYE it is always a good idea not to drink and drive and the Marriott is a very nice place to stay. Room are generally $129 but often can get them for $99 or less. This is an excellent price either way.

“Air Ducts & HVAC”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 December 2011

Please see attached picture. Be careful when you stay at this Marriott. I stated at this for hotel for (2) weeks while attending training. I requested maintenance in our room due to loss of heat. When they showed up and removed the HVAC panel I couldn't believe what I was breathing!!! I haven't seeing a filter and furnace so dirty that I needed to check out after seeing this. BE CAREFUL you can and will get sick here.

Management didn't care about our complain!!! If after this review you stay at his hotel confirm what I am telling you here by asking maintenance to remove HVAC panel. Housekeeping also clean your room but do not clean under T.V. or pictures hanging on the walls. There is a lot of dusk ....

Room Tip: Do not stay here.

“OKC Marriott”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

Good basic hotel. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff are very friendly. Stayed here for two weeks for a business trip. They have nice workout facilities and a pool. Was able to get a fridge for the room. Internet is expensive ($10 per day or $40 for the week), and is charged per computer/device, and is SLOW. Close to several good restaurants, Target, grocery stores, and a shopping mall. Experienced the OKC earthquakes from the 9th floor of the hotel, which was disconcerting as I had never been in an earthquake, but everything stayed solid, lol. Able to get a newspaper and coffee or tea in the lobby everyday.

Room Tip: There are 16 floors to the hotel, so if you don't like being up high, ask for a room on the lowe...

“Great Customer Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

I was very impressed by the staff at the hotel. Always greeting me with a "Good Morning" that always seemed sincere.
The room was comfortable , I travel on business so I don't care about a hotel window view.
The wireless speed was great for using the VPN connection back to my office.
Room service meals were good too.
Gym equipment room was large enough, modern and clean.
No complaints and will stay here again on my business trips.
