We stayed here for one night, didn't book ahead, just rolled up. My husband had some problem communicating with the woman on the front desk - some of our New Zealand descriptions don't mean the same in the U.S. We specifically asked for a quiet room and were given one facing the inside gap/courtyard between the two blocks of rooms and weren't at all disturbed by the traffic on either side of the hotel (Interstate on one side, major road on the other). I wouldn't have liked to stay near the road on the outside rooms though, I think they would be very noisy. We had two adjoining rooms on the top floor, and they were very spacious and quite comfortable. The rooms were relatively clean (I saw some stray hairs on the floor of the bathroom, but it wasn't a huge worry for me) and the beds comfortable enough for one night. The breakfast in the morning wasn't memorable - coffee, juice, one type of bread to toast, little muffins, and two types of cereal - but hey, it was free. There was a Waffle House across the road and another restaurant/gas station not far from that, but otherwise, eating places were pretty scarce. I would stay here again, but I would definitely request a room facing inside.
