My family stayed here over the weekend. I had heard that since this hotel was renovated, that is was very nice. I will say the lobby/room decor is lovely, however it couldn't have been a more unpleasant stay! We saw at least 10 centipide like BUGS in the bathroom area in our room that were crawling in/out of the tilework and under our towels. There were large stains on the couch and carpet that really looked gross. The a/c was so loud when it would turn on/off (frequently) it would literally JOLT you out of sleep. The 'living' area was hot and bed area was freezing. There was no microwave anywhere to heat up our babies food. The employee that checked us in was rude and he said 'breakfast is 7-10 and pool closes at 10' and that's all he said to me? I'm like ok, uh thanks. The breakfast was ok, but employees just stood around the food stand staring at us while we ate. Made us very uncomfortable. Our feet stuck to the floor in the breakfast area and it needed to be mopped/swept. I guess they wanted to wait til everyone was done but geez! Hottub was broke. Worst part (or tie with the bugs): We parked over by the pool area where our room was and came out in the daylight and a carload of hoodlems were speeding off, They had ciphered all the gas out of our car. I am certain they had a lookout and saw us coming, when you look thru pool window from the backside you can see right down the hallway of the whole first floor. The hotel needs to cover/black out the pool window. Huge security issue. I told the hotel what happened and they said they aren't responsible and to get a gascap lock. Nice. Anyway this is my first review for anything but I wanted to share this info for future travelers. The hotel was renovated and IS very pretty but is not being kept up well, staff needs improvement, and there are serious safety issues. Sorry Hyatt NW Expressway, you guys needs to make some changes, back to Sleep Inn I guess.

Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We will address your concerns with the staff so that we can do a better job in the future. Our hotel obviously failed you on your visit and I sincerely apologize. We have contracted a company to shampoo the carpet in all of our rooms and will make sure that they get the furniture as well. We are commited to offering a quality product.
Thanks again for your comments,
John
