“Gonna give it a shot!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

I am going to okc next week and I have requested the newly renovated king room. I will update next week with pics and reviews of the hotel and staff experiences since it seems the revues on this is a mix of love and hate. I own a motel myself so I know what to look for and will be happy to be of help to anyone who may want to go here in the future. Talk to you next week!

“It's a Budget Hotel”

An older property that's under renovation. I don't think paint and wallpaper will ever bring it up to a decent standard. Staff is indifferent, and check girl seemed to hate her job. Would not recommend staying here at any price.

“Old, ghetto, yuck, bad housekeeping, they use a wash cloth to help hold up shower rod.”

First room didn' t have lights working in bathroom. Room was not vacuumed. Second room had scratched up old furniture and no mini fridge like the first one. Microwave on nightstand right next to bed, really? Small old tube TV in room. Unfriendly staff that shrugs shoulders when asked questions. Terrible old place needing many renovations and better management!!! Stay in your car, it will make you wake up and smell better too!

Hello and thank you for taking the time to give a commentary about our hotel. Let me address this in two parts first by saying I agree with you about the condition, however while an older property, we pride ourselves on being very clean, we say here that "old is old" but "dirty and old" is unacceptable, and we're not really a "terrible old place". In this same subject I actually enjoy reading about the oldness of the hotel as we have begun our major renovation to all guestrooms and they will look amazing, maybe you'd like to give us another try in your next travel through our great city. I am concerned about the "shrugging" associate as our staff is well trained in responding to customer concerns and needs, in the future it would help any hotel you are staying at to get a name, all associates have name tags on to identify themselves. When traveling, we all have choices of where to stay, and I hope your travels return you to our property for another chance to earn your business.

“Just Don't”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

My husband and I received a stay here for one night. Upon arriving at the property we had to walk through an intoxicated group celebrating their office party to get to the desk where the clerk dressed in a tshirt and backwards cap greeted us. I will note that the clerk was very polite. He checked us in and we went to check out our room which was in the main building on the second floor.
I understand this is an older hotel but it gave me the creepy old hotel feeling. This came from the scratched up doors and the spots of paint on the ceiling were it looked as though they had painted over water spots.
When we reached our room we did notice that the door had new locks but that is where the renovations ended. The room smelled musty, the furniture looked as though it had been picked up at a yard sale handles hanging off and all. The toilet had hair on it and the bed sheets looked to be stained.
Needless to say we checked out immediately.

Room Tip: Do not choose one.

Let me apologize right off for the less than great experience you had at our property. The front desk agents have uniforms they are to be wearing at all times and while I'm glad he was courteous the clothing is unacceptable. Yes, our hotel is old (40 years to be exact) however, we just began our major room renovations to all guest rooms, hopefully you may want to return and check it out! Clean is a major concern of ours and we pride ourselves on being fastidious, however given the size of the property and the number of staff we have there are always one or two associates who do buy into our vision, and for this I'm sorry. I hope you will give us the opportunity to earn your business in the future.

“Tired but reasonable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

We've stayed at the Biltmore many times - it's a popular place for competitors and spectators for horseshows. Staff are friendly and whilst the hotel is now quite tired we found our room clean and well serviced. The attraction is the atmosphere with other competitors staying here it is fun to be together. It was also quite cheap.
