“Wasn't the worst but certainly not the best.”

Got this hotel for $35 plus tax on Priceline ($47 total) and it certainly wasn't worth more than that. Bed was pretty uncomfortable, carpets in the room were worn and unkempt, comforter had cigarette stains in it (and it was a non-smoking room), and the towels were the thickness of something you'd buy at the dollar store. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 PM, and the front desk is not open after 11, so there was nothing that could be done to change rooms. Hotel was also not signed well and hard to find. Priceline rates this particular ESA as a two-star. As I commented to customer service after I was awarded this property but before I stayed, I'd say thats a stretch. Might be better than a 1-star, but not a 2-star. It can fill your needs for a place to sleep for one night, but thats about it. I'm in Springdale, Arkansas right now at another Priceline 2-star property- its a Hampton Inn, and its very nice. This Extended Stay property was not- if it hadn't been so late in the evening I'd have gone to see if the Sleep Inn down the street had any rooms.

“Good, quality place to stay”

This is a clean, comfortable, no-frills efficiency type hotel, which caters to folks staying longer than a normal hotel stay. We got this room from Priceline for a very reasonable amount ($55). The room offers a tiny kitchen, which we didnt use since we were only there one night, but it was clean, nothing appeared to be broken or ill-used, and it came with a coffeemaker and a microwave in addition to a stove top and fridge.

The folks running the place were quite pleasant and chatty, when my mother asked for a bar of soap, the girl behind the counter dumped a handful in her palm, which was a nice touch, made them seem like they were not stingy.

Nearby are various restaurants, a Target, and an Office Max. There is no restaurant or fitness facility on premises. I will keep these folks in mind if I ever need a long term accomodation!

  • Liked — liked the kitchen aspect, you dont feel like you have to eat out every night
  • Disliked — kind of hard to find, the sign is obscured and far back from the road

“casual, friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 June 2007

As these ESAs go this one was well above par. The property was completely sold out, but my Hotwire rez was honored as any other. I was afraid, considering the online reviews, that they might have given my room away considering that I arrived to a full parking lot, but they saved me a nice non-smoking corner room with two windows! Very nice lady at the front desk, friendly Oklahoma-style. The only flaw I could detect was a little rust on the bathroom sink drain. Otherwise, the place was clean and functional, smelled good, and they even included dishwashing soap and towels, the first time I’ve seen that. I wish they offered decaf, but perhaps if you go down. Can’t, too tired.
Neighborhood’s fine, suburban. Easily within walking distance of shopping of all varieties, including a big mall. Nice stay. I can’t think what the complainers could have been talking about. There’s a $5 internet fee and this place offers Showtime rather than HBO, if that’s important to you.

“Not a good hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 May 2007

This place was not a nice place to stay. We booked a non-smoking room and we were given a smoking room, and it smelled terrible. All my clothes smelled when I got home to unpack. They could not change the rooms because they were fully booked for the night.

There was also a mix up with the keys - they could not get it together.

I do not think they cleaned the rooms, only made the beds and put fresh towels out. There were hairs all over the shower, toilet and sink - GROSS! There were stains on the chair, the shower curtain and the blanket on the bed.

The location of this hotel is very difficult to find. They need a taller, larger sign for people not familiar with its location.

The location was good, however. It is near the mall and places to eat.

I would never stay here again.

“A decent place if you get a discount”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 April 2007

I got this hotel after a bid on Priceline. I have gotten a "Priceline Room" at other places, but this hotel takes the cake. First, they assigned me a room for the "hearing impaired" as noted on the door number sign. This room shared a wall with the in-house laundry which I realized would be noisy in the morning so I got changed to another room, which seemed fine. The next morning I realized that the bath tub didn't have a water spout, only a water tube protruding from the wall. With no diverter valve, I couldn't take a shower, so I had to do a tub bath. When I asked to be switched for my second night, they told me they only had smoking rooms available. I complained to Priceline about this treatment, and they sent me a voucher for my next stay. Maybe regular customers will get better rooms, but I wouldn't bid on a 2-star in Oklahoma City again for fear of being assigned to this place. Otherwise, the room seemed clean although the dishes weren't completely clean and I washed them before using them. There were no pots and pans in the room so I had to go to the front desk for those. The location was decent and quiet. Overall below average impression of this property.
