“Worst hotel stay in years”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 April 2011

I got to the Marriott late and waited 10 minutes for the guy at the desk to get off the phone and check me in. Finally I got my key and went upstairs. The entire third floor was on party mode with college students screaming and yelling until well after midnite. Then once I finally got to sleep the more noise from the balconies. At 600 am the fire alarm goes off.so I got about 5 hours of sleep. Then took a shower and found hair in the drain. Really gross. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great nights sleep.

“Great location”

Stayed here on the way to Texas on Spring Break. Would stay here again but hotel does need some updating. Breakfast was $11 for adults and $6 for kids so we opted for McDonalds next door as did many others I saw staying there.

Kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Front desk person was very helpful with directions to Thunder arena downtown.

I didn't hear anything during the night but was a little disturbed by the 4 police cars outside when I left in the morning. Didn't go back inside to see what was happening.

“Horrible Experience”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 March 2011

I stayed at this hotel several months ago & I would never stay here again if my life depended on it.
First, the room was beyond filthy. The walls & ceiling were yellow from age & neglect. The television barely got reception & looked as if it were at least 15 years old.
The sheets were stained so I had to ask the maid to change them. The shower had warm water at best & the drain was clogged so you had to shower quickly before the tub over-flowed.
The room had a nasty mold smell. Really really bad smell.
But what made my stay even worse was the fact that this hotel is in a very bad area. The first night, I walked to McDonalds which is next door. There were gang-like thugs hanging outside which scared me to death as I am a woman & travel on business alone. Several people begged me for money & one harrassed me so bad that I ran/walked very fast back to my room. The next night, I never left my room after dark. I'd rather starve than to go outside this hotel at night.
The staff was rude & unaccomodating when I complained about the horrible mold smell in the room.
And then on top of all of this, when I got home & checked my credit account, this hotel had charged me 250.00 for what they later told me was a smoking fee. Since I don't smoke, I was beyond upset. Their manager, Sharon refused to call me back but thankfully my bank took care of the fraudulent charges. I honestly believe that they charged me this fee because I complained so much about the mold smell & my overall dissatisfaction of my room.
I have never had such a crazy, nightmare of an experience with any hotel. I made sure to file several complaints with various agencies about this hotel because I would not want anyone to go through what I had to endure. The only reason I even chose this hotel was because of its non smoking policy, however I would rather stay in a hotel room that had previously been smoked in & gag all night from the stench than to ever give this hotel a penny more of my money.

“Nice Hotel not too Far from OKC attractions”

I've stayed in a number of Courtyard by Marriott hotels. They are generally pretty nice and this one was no exception. The folks in reception were friendly and helpful. The room was nice enough (nothing special). Though right by the highway, there was not too much street noise on the side facing away from the interstate.
