I stayed here while attending a conference at the OU. It is about as close as you can get to the campus, but don't be fooled - you can't walk there. I tried on the first afternoon, and although the walk is only about 2 miles, it is along the side of a busy road with no sidewalk, and no street lights. I ended up getting taxis all week
The staff were all polite, but nobody went out of their way to help.
The rooms were clean, and the bed comfortable, but the walls were paper thin, I could hear the person next door snoring for the first night I was there, and also their wake up call at 5am, which they somehow failed to hear!
The breakfast was ok - I liked the DIY waffles and toasted bagels, I thought the hot selection could have changed daily as it was rubbery scrambled eggs and beefburgers for the entire 5 days I was there. (Who eats burgers for breakfast?!)
I didn't like the polystyrene plates and plastic cutlery, looked a bit cheap and tacky. (and not very environmentally friendly either)
The Wi-Fi worked fine for me - although I had to ring down and ask for the password, it wasn't offered to me on check in. Maybe a bit slow, but I guess that depends where you are in the hotel.
Overall I thought the hotel was OK, just OK, there are things that could be done better, but it was comfortable and clean.
Next time I would stay at the Sooner Legends, similar quality rooms, but more lively and has a restaurant, also offers a free shuttle service to the conference which would have saved me over $20 a day in taxi fares.
