We primarily stay at Hamptons.....this is an older one, the first time we stayed here, we were put by the exterior door at the end of the hall, it was very noisy, we asked for a room change....the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.....there are a few maintenance housekeeping problems, though.....when we checked in today, the thermostat knob was missing from our refrigerator, but it is cold enough......when we were here November 20th, there was coffee left in our coffee pot from whoever stayed in room last.....and the used coffee filter, which we have never encountered any problems at any other Hamptons, but the staff is very good at taking care of the problems.....will continue to stay here.

Clean and comfortable, helpful staff. This is the same great experience as at all Hampton Hotels!!!

I travel a lot and stay at a lot of hotels. I stay at this Hampton Inn for 2-3 nights at least once a year when in Norman visiting family. The last visit was last week (July 2011.) I'm surprised to find any bad reviews as I always find this hotel to be a good value for what I need. Front desk staff friendly and helpful, hotel clean, our room was spotless, tastefully furnished, and well-stocked. When you get a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and blowdryer in a hotel, you can easily expect to pay well over $100 per night. This hotel is competitively priced for what it offers and its location. It's right off I-35, within walking distance of the mall and several restaurants and strip malls. (By the way if you like Indian, check out Misal's of India just around the corner for some of the freshest, most natural and delicious Indian food in the state. In two states! I'm going to include Colorado in that group. :)) For the free breakfast that comes with an overnight stay, they had plenty of healthy choices which means a lot to me--fruit, oatmeal, wheat toast, and fiber cereals. Coffee not bad for a hotel, and they have full tea service too. We were on the first floor and it was quiet day and night. Good mattresses. Set the AC on 68-69 in the summer and you'll sleep like a baby under the fluffy comforter. I'll just say there is a reason I stay there every year and don't bother looking elsewhere.

We frequently stay at Hampton Inns, but this one was smaller and less comfortable than most we have stayed in. The room was a bit smaller and the beds were only doubles instead of queens. With a family of four, we felt too crowded so we checked out and found a place down the road with queen beds and more room for $5 less per night.
