If you are looking for a clean comfortable room don't stay here you could just as well sleep in a public bathroom. I was afraid to walk around with my shoes off. It very much gave the appearance of a “room by the hour” kind of place. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and BO. The room that I had was an adjoining room and I could hear every word, sound, and the TV from the room next door all night long. If that weren't bad enough I was startled out of bed at 7:45 AM to the sounds of a work crew re-ruffing the building directly above my 3rd floor room. I was NEVER informed of the work that would be done while making my reservation or at check-in, and treated rudely by the front desk when I called to inquire about the mind-blowing sounds that started at 7:45AM and never stopped even as I raced to exit the room directly thereafter, no one could have tolerated the sound or jarring for any length of time. I had a confrontation with the deck clerk who was the most rude woman I have ever met. When I asked to see the manager because I didn't feel it was fair that I be placed in the situation unknowingly, I was rudely told to sit and wait. After 25 minutes she – not the manage – checked me out with a very small discount, the manager never bothered to see me at all. I then filed a complaint with Best Western and found out that Greentree LIED and said I was notified about the construction!! Don't give these low-lives your money!!
