“Couldn't Make It To The Finish Line”

Made a last minute reservation to this Hampton Inn. We looked online to make sure this was an undated property because my husband and I absolutely love their fluffy beds and linens. The internet rate was $106.00 which wasn't bad compared to other Hampton's we've stayed in. Upon arrival a very nice front desk girl gasped at our quote and insited on giving us a rate of $75.00 due to our current economical recession. I thought that was really generous of her. The lobby was pretty nice with a couch and plasma TV and large enclosed business center off to the side. There is also a large dining room with buffet counter off to the other side. Luggage in tow we head up to the floor where we were accomidated away from the noisy interstate. Upon entering the room I was a tad bit disappointed in the room decor..it was quite basic. It didn't have a chair with ottoman to relax in, it did however have a desk and comfy leather chair situated in the corner with a plug in internet connection. The AC was quite nice. I noticed the bed had the clean white plush devut that I so love about their hotels, as well as the feather pillows! I jumped onto the bed thinking I would sink in and began to bounce. The mattress was not the usual memory foam with topper but a springy cheap mattress that I would expect at a Motel 6. UGH...it totally ruined my mood because the whole point of staying there was for the bed. Well I figured a shower would help my mood. Again i was expecting what I have become accustomed to with renovated Hampton Inn Hotels, and that is the rainfall style shower head. I wasn't a happy camper to not only find a standard showerhead, but it also lacked substantially in water pressure. It was very frustrating washing my hair in fact. The towels were not plush and soft like I like either. The one good thing about the hotel is that it was was very quiet. I could not hear other people's water running or people walking above us. My husband did however wake up with a sharp knife pain going through his back from the bed, so we didn't lounge around in the bed like we had planned. The continental breakfast serves Starbucks coffee just incase that matters to anyone!

“Had everything we needed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

While visiting family near Oklahoma City I stayed at the Hampton Inn, just off exit 156A of I-40. Perfect location. Easy to get on/off interstate. Hotel was clean and the service was excellent. A real good hot breakfast is included AND they leave a lot of the breakfast goodies out all day so if you want a piece of fruit or a fork or coffee one of those little peanut butter cups, it's there. The indoor pool was excellent. Lots of towels. Good temperature. Computer in the lobby if you don't travel with a laptop. One block from a Walmart in case you need something. Lots of eating choices within a real easy drive. However, if you want the best steak that has every been put on a plate, try the Cattleman in downtown OKC. Doesn't look like much from the outside or inside, but you can cut the steak with a fork. Hope you get the waiter Billy Jack.

Room Tip: Second floor is all non-smoking. Third floor for smokers.

“Good hotel/Outstanding value”

Nice, modest Hampton at a terrific value. Though older, the rooms are updated and fresh. The breakfast bar was the nicest chain breakfast I've seen in some time, with higher quality sausage eggs and very attentive attendants. I think the $ is good because the area has a number of newer hotels. I actually stayed here by mistake -thinking it was a different, newer hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised. Pride of management and staff is evident. I'll be back.

Stayed at this Hampton when traveling across country. Good, clean hotel...seemed fresh, clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful both at check-in and check-out. Finally a good night's rest

“An ok hotel near Oklahoma City.”

We stayed at this hotel while visiting extended family in Oklahoma City. The location is good and it's fairly quiet considering it's next to an interstate highway.
The beds are comfortable. The rooms are a decent size and the bathrooms are nice.
The best thing about this hotel are the extra touches: the breakfast is good. the lobby has a beverage center and cookies all day. there is a managers reception.
The pool is small, but few people were there when we went. This hotel is very close to a Walmart and Home Depot. There are restaurants nearby.
