Made a last minute reservation to this Hampton Inn. We looked online to make sure this was an undated property because my husband and I absolutely love their fluffy beds and linens. The internet rate was $106.00 which wasn't bad compared to other Hampton's we've stayed in. Upon arrival a very nice front desk girl gasped at our quote and insited on giving us a rate of $75.00 due to our current economical recession. I thought that was really generous of her. The lobby was pretty nice with a couch and plasma TV and large enclosed business center off to the side. There is also a large dining room with buffet counter off to the other side. Luggage in tow we head up to the floor where we were accomidated away from the noisy interstate. Upon entering the room I was a tad bit disappointed in the room decor..it was quite basic. It didn't have a chair with ottoman to relax in, it did however have a desk and comfy leather chair situated in the corner with a plug in internet connection. The AC was quite nice. I noticed the bed had the clean white plush devut that I so love about their hotels, as well as the feather pillows! I jumped onto the bed thinking I would sink in and began to bounce. The mattress was not the usual memory foam with topper but a springy cheap mattress that I would expect at a Motel 6. UGH...it totally ruined my mood because the whole point of staying there was for the bed. Well I figured a shower would help my mood. Again i was expecting what I have become accustomed to with renovated Hampton Inn Hotels, and that is the rainfall style shower head. I wasn't a happy camper to not only find a standard showerhead, but it also lacked substantially in water pressure. It was very frustrating washing my hair in fact. The towels were not plush and soft like I like either. The one good thing about the hotel is that it was was very quiet. I could not hear other people's water running or people walking above us. My husband did however wake up with a sharp knife pain going through his back from the bed, so we didn't lounge around in the bed like we had planned. The continental breakfast serves Starbucks coffee just incase that matters to anyone!
