I called and booked the room over the phone , the employee helping me was nice and helpful . When we arrived , the next day , the same employee checked us in , again he was very helpful and friendly , and recalled speaking to me before , believe it was Richard . The hotel was very clean , and comfortable , I liked the large fireplace and comfy seating in the lobby , also the fresh popcorn and baked cookies . It was a Saturday , there was more people , the employee stayed busy remaking everything and attending the front . There was puzzles, games , wifi , and computer area , fitness area , and a aqua massager . Loved our room , had a whirlpool suite , very large , clean , new tv, everthing was updated , slept great on the bed , which the employee had stated all the beds there were new. It was quiet and friendly . The pool and hot tub were great and indoor , again clean ! The breakfast was good , real eggs , biscuits, gravy , sausage , fresh waffles and more, the breakfast attendant was also friendly and made sure everything was great , keeping it clean and stocked .Nice location , lot of food options in the area. Lobby music is a mix of older country and gospel - funny I thought . Would stay here again and recommend it to others

On a recent sad trip to Missouri, I was returning to Texas and got to McAlester for the night. I had stayed here before and it was very good; so tried again. It was very good. Clean, spacious rooms but the most important part is the staff...that most often is true it seems to me. Richard and Jeremy went beyond expectations to assist me during my stay. When I left at 4 plus a.m. the next morning, Jeremy saw that I had coffee in a REAL cup, a biscuit and a banana to get me started. His kindness was very impressive and welcome.

I stayed here last year while on a road trip with friends and loved it. I tried the Best Western McAlester first and was unhappy so we moved to AmericInn and were delighted. This year I was coming back with family to attend the local festival. I booked us here and was happy to see that it was as great as I remembered. I will definitely stay here on each trip.... cookies and milk at night, a great breakfast buffet, courteous and attentive staff, clean and quiet.... Thank you AmericInn!

It sucks since got new manger last place I would stay n we use 2 stay every week
