Made a late night stop here traveling across the country with my cat. I found the place very clean and comfortable. They charged me just $5 for the cat. This is probably the cleanest place I have stayed under $50. Given the old reviews, new management must have changed quite a bit. I was very happy. It is now called "Econo Inn" and even though it is just a couple blocks off the freeway (and quiet), it can be a bit tricky to find (it is behind the Clarion) with only a small sign along the road. I found the management friendly and very helpful.

It's like a different place than I stayed in last year. It has been bought and the new management made improvements. It's now a great value, where before it was just a cheap place to stay.
I mentioned the bad reviews to the manager, and she said things had changed. I could come look at all the rooms to see the difference. It is clean and many things had been replaced. It even smelled good!
After our first night, we mentioned that the door was a bit drafty, so she moved us immediately to the room next door. The service was responsive and very helpful.

My God, what an absolute dump!!!

My daughter was playing on the 'carpet', and her legs and feet were filthy black after about ten minutes. I've been to plenty of hotels/motels over the years, and this one was one of the worst!

First, do NOT believe the website that says: "Pet accommodation: 15.00/night Pet limit: 2 pets per room, up to 25 pounds" It does NOT say per pet, but when you get to the place, that's how they charge you. The place is in a pit of an area, is poorly kept (and I don't even expect much of a bargain motel, but...) and then, in the morning, as I collected a meager breakfast for my husband and myself (2 cereal, 2 coffee, 2 juice) was informed by the woman tending the breakfast area that I was "GREEDY." Well, lady, here's my response. AVOID THIS PLACE--insulting me after the lousy night and surprise charge not going to win my vote!!!!!
