Visiting the Cowboy Museum and looked for a motel close by. This fit the bill and for a great value ($74 INCLUDING all taxes). Convenient on/off to I-35 (which connects to everything else). Clean.

This hotel is in a convenient location visible from the highway for anyone just passing through OKC. My poor rating comes mostly from the problems I had with daysinn dot com. Due to a technical glitch, I had 3 rooms reserved (I only needed one). The people at the desk could not help me by canceling the extra rooms, so I had to call daysinn dot com. They could not help me either. I was to pay for three rooms for only me.

Besides this problem (which the desk clerk eventually fixed - thank you) I still give the hotel a mixed review. I was there on a weekday, and it seems that many working men stay at this hotel during the week and must go home on the weekends. Therefore, there was a construction worker beer and BBQ party going on right below my room. This was intimidating for me, a solo woman traveler unpacking her things alone. I felt fine once I was in the room, which was huge and clean and came with a fridge and microwave.

The only other thing I didn't like was the fact that the desk clerks announced my room number, and the fact that I was traveling alone, aloud with other customers in the lobby. Isn't it a standard thing not to say your room number out loud, and especially for a woman alone? This really bothered me. I would not recommend this hotel to others in my situation, but for families I'm sure it would be fine.

We booked our room on the Days Inn website and then found a better rate online about 5 minutes later. When we tried to get the staff at DaysInn.com to stand by their "Best Rate Guarantee" we were given three different reasons from 3 different people as to why they would not stand by their guarantee. It was a very frustrating experience and I will never book through their website again.

That said the actual hotel met our needs and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had requested a quiet room (where we wouldn't hear a lot of highway noise). When we got there they gave us a nice, quiet room (1 of only 5 rooms on an indoor corridor). The room was spacious with 2 queen beds and a couch that pulls out into a twin bed. There was also a mini fridge and microwave. The TV was large and could easily be seen from both beds and the couch. The A/C unit in our room looked to be brand new and worked very well. Overall, the room met our needs and we would definitely stay there again.

I was a little worried about the hotel doors opening not into an interior hallway but to the outside, and that I-35 was "right there" BUT we had a SUPER quiet stay! we prebooked to save 15% and the credit card was not charged until we actually checked in. we got an $85 for $$70...even the lady at the front desk told us we had gotten a deal. though we had shopping to do in other parts of the city that had us driving, it was VERY convienent to navigate!

I dont usually go back and write a review but I must say that if I am staying in OKC for any reason, I would not hesitate to book a room here again----even at full price!
