“its not as bad as reviews say!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2011

ok after all the neg reviews and 40 dollar pet deposit at best western thats non refundable i decided to give this place a try .. its an older hotel so i dont know what people expect. the room was clean and i checked the bed and everything was ok . like sheet wise. (very clean) front desk girl is really nice and the pet deposit is only 7 a night or if u stay weekly its 25 for the week. which beats best westerns price which i think is horrible for a small 6 pound yorkie. were here because of my hubbys rig is moving, until an rv park in chickasha has a spot open. its very quiet here seems like there is alot of working men that are stayin here as well . but they all clear out in the mornings so it didnt bother me any. bed was comfy and im on there wifi now which works great .. so for 49.99 a night for this place is a great deal! also P S i dont eat breakfest so i dont know what all they have.

“Excellent Value For Money and very helpful staff”

I read the earlier reviews and was concerned however I decided to take a chance.
The rooms are properly serviced daily to a good level (without asking they even washed my own coffee machine that I had left dirty)
Nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped immediately I asked anything.

Location was very handy, room was directly in front of the outdoor swimming pool. Large TV fridge microwave.

Compared to other rates I was offered I would definitely reccommend this hotel to others for Clean, friendly, Comfortable convenient hotel. Oh and I nearly forgot to say the breakfast was great.

They have a great weekly rate

It seems to be a privately owned hotel and all the staff really care and do their best to help.

“Don't ignore the reviews”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 April 2010

Bad, bad bad. Worst than the worst Motel 6. I gambled based on one positive review and it was a mistake. This property is very poorly maintained. The rooms appeared clean and the sheet only had one hole. The staff is minimal. Breakfast was a joke -- one cereal choice (Froot Loops), a loaf of Wonder Bread, and the ubiquitous waffle maker. The tables were covered with gummy residue from previous guests -- possibly from the previous day''s guests. The Best Western across the highway isn't much better. I am still looking for a reasonably-priced property in Chickasha.

“Older hotel, but served it's purpose. Staff was friendly and very accomidating.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 April 2010

We were in Chickasha for a baseball tournament and really just needed a place to stay at night and between games. Wasn't looking for anything fancy. It was a great value, offering waffles and other breakfast items in lobby. Close to highway and easy access to restaurants and ball park. The staff was very accomidating to our needs, allowing us a later checkout than usual and housekeeping was very friendly and attentive.
The rooms are older, but they are clean.
The only complaint I have would be that the hairdryer in our room didn't work. Other than that, I would stay here again. For the price, it's a great deal.

“Decent Deal - Will stay elsewhere next time though”

The Maverick Inn was originally a Days Inn. According to a conversation I had with the front desk clerk (one of the owners), the motel had opted to go independent rather than stay with the Days Inn name. I would describe this hotel as very basic. The motel had exterior hallways and an outdoor pool that was closed and covered with a tarp. The pool furniture was covered in dust and dirt, and clearly was no longer being used. There was a gated fence around the pool, which likely had a lock on it. There were your standard vending machines outside in the hallway. Inside, there was a bar and restaurant that appeared to no longer be open. I was helping some other guests try to find the ice machine, which turned out to be inside the restaurant. On the floor in front of the bar, there was a large stain that honestly looked like a blood stain. I do not know how else to describe it. If the motel was mine, I really would have at least found a rug to cover it up. Seeing that as I was trying to help the other guests find the ice machine gave me a sort of uneasy feeling. The floor in this area was also dirty. Inside the rooms, the appearance was neat and tidy when we walked in. The beds had pillows with light green pillowcases propped against the headboards and the bedspreads looked pretty with the light green. But looks can be deceiving. The beds were like something out of a National Lampoon family vacation movie. The mattresses were lopsided on both beds. We both slept feeling as if we would roll off the bed and woke up with horrible back aches. The soap and shampoo were both the type you will find in the Days Inn. Apparently they had leftovers from before the transfer to independent.
This was the cheapest hotel in town, but I had expected more, even with the low rate. I will say if you do not mind an uncomfortable bed and you just need a cheap place to stay, this one is for you. The location was right off the interstate in this rural Oklahoma town. I personally will pay the $20-30 more to stay at the Holiday Inn across the street should I need a place to stay in this area in the future.
