Stayed in this motel when it first opened in 2006. It was an excellent peoperty then, and it still is today. Staff is outstanding, rooms are cuper clean, beds sleep well, its quiet, and management is obviously excellent. You can't go wrong here!

Upon checking in, the guy at the front desk told us breakfast was served from 6AM 'til 10AM. We were very disappointed the next morning to find everything being shut down at 9AM. The lady taking care of the breakfast room was very kind & made some more coffee for us & brought us out some juice & bagels & muffins from the back. When I explained to her that we were told breakfast was until 10AM. She said "Oh, he does that all the time. I wish he wouldn't". To be in such low-population area, this was an exceptionally nice hotel. Very clean & quite comfortable. Like I said, it would have been a perfect stay except for the breakfast experience.

This hotel is clean and roomy w/nice staff members. I specifically told them I was traveling w/a 9lb dog and asked for a quote before getting to the hotel. They tried to add a pet charge when I got there and I said NO - so they didn't. There was also a smoky smell to the room...and I think the room had been a smoking room before even though I asked for a non-smoking room. In the end, I paid $82.91 for staying there and I thought that was a bit much for staying in Blackwell, OK.

We were very grateful for the elevator since we had a second floor room. Room appeared to be clean. It served the purpose well as we just needed a good night sleep after a long drive that day and another long day ahead of us. Continential breakfast served the purpose. Staff was on hand to make waffles for you, if you so choose. Opted for a mug of coffee instead and down the road we went. We would definitely stay again.
