“Worst Hotel Ever”

Worst Hotel Ever. Dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. I spend about 150 nights/per yr in hotels. The room had had a moldey smell and a dirty sock smell to it. The walls had black scuff marks or maybe mold, didn't look close enough to find out. The carpets were so dirty that I only could walk around in flip flop or shoes. The front desk was very rude and non- accomidating. The beds were at least 20yrs old. You could feel the coils in your back. There are a few other hotels in the area that cost between $5-10 more per night, which are much better and other free breakfest.

We knew when we booked, given the rate, that we wouldn't be getting turn down service. And that was OK. But when we checked in, I noticed a large dead bug on its back, with several of its friends in a similar state, in the eating area. The same one that would host the continental breakfast the next day.

After walking up the stairs to our room, we noticed the old fashioned, 80s decor. And the musty smell. But it wasn't until that night that we also discovered that the bed was made up of the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on, and I've been camping AND to college, so that's saying something.

Seriously, it was like sleeping on a collection of cinder blocks wrapped in a very old quilt.

The next morning, we went back downstairs to grab some breakfast. Same giant bug and his friends. The milk and juice was unrefrigerated, and warm to the touch. The bagels and english muffins were in an unsealed plastic drawer container, and hard as a rock because of improper storage. We went to McDonald's instead.
